Friday 23rd October sees our second South African Evening of the year!
There will be a selection of dishes for the night (see menu South African Evening October 2020 copy) including Bunny Chow (photo) and Lamb Potjiekos, along with a selection of wines and beers from the region.

After the attempt to run our plant based evenings every Friday wasn’t quite as successful as we’d hoped, despite great reviews from those that did come, we have decided to go back to having them as a monthly event and the first one will be 18th September!
Three courses will cost £22 and two courses £20 per person and don’t forget that for only £85.00 (£100 to upgrade to deluxe) per couple you can stay overnight and have full cooked vegetarian or vegan breakfast.
Should you not quite have convinced your partner or friends to become herbivores, we will still be running our normal fayre alongside.

Vegan Evening 10th July 2020 (002)
From Thursday 18th June, the restaurant will be open once again seven nights a week and for Sunday Lunch (though booking is necessary and we will need the names of all guests in case ‘Contact Tracing’ is required.)
The Welbeck is unique among dining establishments with the space we have available in both the bar and the restaurant, while at the same time remaining intimate!
New chef, Kris Gunn who has worldwide experience and has devised a new menu for your pleasure, allowing us to provide fine food without exorbitant prices.
We are now taking bookings for Sunday Lunches from 12:00pm through the day.
