This great show by Manx Operatic Society is due to commence 12th March and runs for 7 nights!
Directed by the excellent John Cumberlidge who of course is staying at the hotel, the story centres around, The Fleet Street Barber (played by the brilliant David Artus) who is unfairly banished from his homeland by Judge Turpin (Alex Toohey) but returns to wreak bloody havoc, as revenge! Also starring are Gemma Varnum (Mrs. Lovett) Marie Quinn (The Beggarwoman) Neil Callin as the Beadle, David Cowley as Adolphe, Hannah Clinton who is Johanna and Alex Maxwell.
The show also features Musical Director, Martin Heyward.
Following on from the success of last month’s Manx night, Saturday 5th March, we are again showcasing local produce (Not that we don’t always on every day’s menu.)
Chef Kris has devised another excellent feast which is here and it’s great to hear that Manx Goats Cheese is again back in production and that Clare from IOM Goats is slowly recovering following her accident. The Manx Cheddar will be replaced with Chevre in the soufflé.
I’m alsom excited about the Red Bourbon Turkey that has been reared at Ballacosnahan Farm which apparently differs greatly from the commercially farmed variety
Our daily menu is now also featuring Persian Spiced Pulled Loaghtan which is really delicious.
We’re open every night and Sunday lunches too, and you can book on our restaurant page for meals and here for accommodation or really we’d prefer to talk to you on 675663!
See you soon!
Our Christmas party menu, priced at £29.00 which includes a Manx Loaghtan dish has now been published on this site!
